Start Point: Grand Coulee Dam Visitor Center, Lincoln Ave. & SR 155 North, Grand Coulee, WA 99133(509-633-9265).
From Seattle: From I-90 Exit 151 follow SR 283 (Ephrata). (SR 283 becomes SR 28 south of Ephrata.) Follow SR 28 to Soap Lake. From Soap Lake take SR 17 north to US 2. Follow US2 east through Coulee City to SR 155. Follow SR 155 to Grand Coulee, entering town on Midway Ave. Follow Midway Ave. past Grand Coulee Dam and continue downhill to the Grand Coulee Dam Visitor Center on your right. Park in the visitor's parking lot.
From Spokane: Follow US 2 to Wilbur, then SR 21 and SR 174 to Grand Coulee. At intersection with SR 155, turn right onto Midway Ave. Past Grand Coulee Dam and continue downhill to the Grand Coulee Dam Visitor Center on your right. Park in the visitor's parking lot.
Description: Center hours: Open April 1 to May 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and May 30 to Sept 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Ask for walk box at the entrance desk. Walk on paved trail and city streets. Rated 2 for long gradual hill at Dam. Route includes three counties: Grant, Douglas and Okanogan.
Guided tours of Third Power plant are free and last 45 minutes. Laser shows nightly from May 31 through Sept. 30

No wheel chairs and only jogging strollers advised. Pets are permitted but owners are responsible for leash and clean-up laws.
