Start Point:  Lake Chelan Health & Fitness

take Hwy 97A north to Chelan.  Make left turn at Forest Service sign, and continue past sign over the bridge and onto Woodin Avenue.  Go straight 2 blocks thru town to the stoplight and get into left turn lane.  The Fitness Center is on your left adjacent to the alley on Sanders.  Parking is good across Johnson Avenue near "Chelan Fresh" headquarters on your right.

 

From Seattle:   From I-5, take I-90 east. Take 2nd exit (Cle Elum to Wenatchee). Head north on Hwy 97 to Hwy 2 east. Off of Hwy 2, take the exit for East Wenatchee/Spokane. Take Lake Chelan exit onto 97Alt.

From Spokane:  Take Hwy 2 west to Coulee City. Continue west to Hwy 17. Drive North on Hwy 17 to Hwy 172. Drive through Mansfield. Following signs to Lake Chelan, continue to McNeil Canyon/Beebe Bridge Park. Taking a right on Hwy 97, cross Beebe Bridge. Take an immediate left after crossing the Columbia River over the Beebe Bridge. Hwy 150 becomes Woodin Avenue in downtown Chelan.


Walk Rated 1B:  Chelan is noted for its beautiful parks and murals.  The walk will take you through residential, business, 3 beautiful parks and along Chelan River and Lake Chelan.  Be sure and bring a camera as there are some great views.

 

Bike Rated 1A:  A scenic route through the town of Chelan on wide shoulders and along Lake Chelan to the State Park.  You may see parasailing, water skiers, bring your camera as Lake Chelan is beautiful.  A very slight incline but mostly level.  You may want to pack a lunch to relax at the Park before your ride back.
