LEAVENWORTH WALK October 10th and 11th

Start Point: Osborn Elementary School 225 Central Avenue From Seattle: Hwy 2 to Leavenworth, entering Leavenworth. Turn left at first stop light on Evans,*stay to left at division of streets one block to Osborn School. From Hwy 97 turn left on Hwy 2 to Leavenworth continue to 3rd stop light on Evans and turn right, * follow instruction above. Rated 2: Correction due to construction, this walk has been changed. The walk will now take you up ski hill and through a beautiful forestry area, following cross-country ski trails. You will then come down hill through some lovely residential homes. Be sure to bring camera as there are some beautiful shots to take of the surrounding mountains. If you still choose to take the town walk, it may be taken as a YR seasonal with some road changes. Start Point: Osborn Elementary School 225 Central Avenue, Leavenworth After signing in at starting point in Leavenworth, you will proceed by car, back to Hwy 2 going east. Approximately 5 miles you will turn left at the stop lights to enter Peshastin. Across the bridge you will see the Peshastin Elementary School, 10001 School Road. Parking and porta-potty is available in the school parking lot to start your walk. There will be a finish table at the Peshastin School for your convenience. Rated: 2 - 5 & 10Km 4–15 Km due to uphill climb Pets permitted on both walks but owners are responsible for leash and clean-up laws. Jogging strollers’ advisable but rough pathways and narrow roads prohibit wheelchair access.
