CHELAN WALK AND BIKE ESVA MEETING 1:00 PM Have you ever walked such a fun walk, seen so many murals, enjoyed parks and lakes. A no-host lunch gives you time to enjoy one of Chelan's many indoor/outdoor restaurants.
Start Time: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM Start Point: United Methodist Church, 206 North Emerson. Hwy 97A becomes Woodin Avenue in Chelan, stay on Woodin for several blocks, turning on Emerson. Directions: Spokane: Follow US2 west to Orondo, go north on 97 twenty-three miles to the Beebe Bridge that crosses the Columbia River to Chelan Falls. Turn Left on Hwy 150 up the gorge to Lake Chelan. Seattle: Take I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass to Cle-Elum and take Exit 85. North over Blewett Pass on US97. Then US2 towards Wenatchee. Just before reaching Wenatchee, take the exit to 97 Alternate (97A). Follow 97A to Chelan Rated: Both Walk and Bike rated 2 Walk: 5/10Km Bike: 31.6Km AVA Challenges: Walking USA, 50 States, America's Gardens
WA State Challenges: Counties: Chelan Art: Statues, Murals S&G Towns: Bakery, Post Office, Fire Station
Wheelchairs and Jogging Strollers permitted on the walk, some up hill. Pets are permitted but owners are responsible for leash and clean-up laws.
