LEAVENWORTH BVA 2010 EVENT

Saturday October 2

This year enjoy walking through beautiful autumn colors, photo perfect scenery, rivers, and mountain views. The weather in October is usually frosty in the AM but warm during the afternoons. It is usually perfect weather for walking.  There will be a starting point and finish table at both walks.

Start your Saturday off with our annual “Lions Oktoberfest Breakfast”.  It will be a little cool, so dress warmly as you will be eating outside and enjoying an “all you can eat” breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and ham.  There will be plenty of coffee or tea to keep you warm.

One of the planned walks will take you from the city park in Dryden to the Peshastin Pinnacles; great walking in the country where you will have views of the Wenatchee River and Cascade Mountains.  The second walk will let you walk the Cross Country Ski trails on the Leavenworth Fish Hatchery grounds.  Experience lovely views and afterwards you may wish to stop at a great place called "O’Grady’s Pantry” where you may sit inside or outside and enjoy lunch with a wonderful selection of salads, soups, and sandwiches.

Spend a whole weekend enjoying good walking, great eating and a chance to enjoy all the Oktoberfest activities.  Try to squeeze in a little time to do some of our Seasonals.

No wheelchairs and only jogging strollers are advised.  Pets permitted but owners are responsible for leash and clean-up laws.
