TRAIL DESCRIPTION |
This trail follows a gravel road within the sanctuary where over 300 mustangs roam free in 11,000 acres of spectacular canyons and forests. The Cheyenne River flows in four directions across a vast expanse of pristine prairie land where petro glyphs may be seen. |

DIRECTIONS |
From Hot Springs, take SD Hwy 71 south to the Cheyenne River, about 12 1/2 miles. Just past the bridge, turn right and continue west on gravel road about 3- 1/2 miles to the visitor's center. |
