Trail follows the historic Rockerville Flume, built in 1880 to carry water to the gold mines. Return along Centennial Trail, crossing the dam and following the rugged and rocky side of Spring Creek Canyon |

From Rapid City take 8th St./US Hwy 16 south to Catron Blvd. Turn right on Catron Blvd. to Sheridan Lake Road, turn left and go 11.4 miles to Spring Creek Trailhead. Watch for signs. |
