TRAIL DESCRIPTION

Walk on city sidewalks and gravel roads.

EVENT INFORMATION

Closed first 2 weeks in August due to heavy traffic at Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Walk (10KM) will be on the famous biker blocks going out to Ft. Meade.  There are many interesting landmarks to see on this walk.  Return trip will be on the Alkali Bike Path.  The 5K walk will have a short drive to the City Park with the walk going out to Ft. Meade and returning along the bike path.  The town of Sturgis holds the Famous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally every August. Optional 11k walk is on the Centennial Trail going out to Ft. Meade.  Return trip is on the bike path.

DIRECTIONS

Traveling I-90 from Rapid City, take Exit 30, a right onto Lazelle St, and the Start Point is on the left after the 3rd stop light.
