TRAIL DESCRIPTION

Walk through town on sidewalks and a bike path and pass by historic buildings, county museum, train depot, several city parks and points of interest.

EVENT INFORMATION

This walk qualifies for “Walking Europe in USA” and “Railroad Heritage” Programs.

DIRECTIONS

Newcastle is located in the Northeast section of Wyoming .  The Fountain Inn is located at the Intersection of US 16 and 85.

Event and distance books will be available for purchase for $5.00 each at the Start/Finish.  This event counts towards the acquisition of IVV achievement awards.  New walker program packets will also be available for $5.00 each.

Carrying water is recommended.

Numerous restaurants available throughout the city.

PETS

Pets must be leashed per city ordinance.  Please be prepared to pick up after your pets.

Restrooms are available at start point and throughout the city.
