TRAIL DESCRIPTION |
Walk on Mickelson Trail from Mystic through actual railroad tunnels. Walk is on a well maintained trail. |

EVENT INFORMATION |
Elevation at start point is just below 5000'' and rises to over 5500' from there. There is a $3 daily fee for trail use. |

DIRECTIONS |
Hill City is located on Hwy 385/16. Take Mt. Rushmore Road from Rapid City. From Hot Springs and Custer take 385 north. Take Deerfield Lake Road in Hill City until it branches to the left, stay to the right on CR 231 to Mystic TH (gravel road). Look for signs. |

Event and distance books will be available for purchase for $5.00 each at the Start/Finish. This event counts towards the acquisition of IVV achievement awards. New walker program packets will also be available for $5.00 each. |
