TRAIL DESCRIPTION

The trail follows the old Burlington Northern Railroad. 

EVENT INFORMATION

Rises to 6250' during the 42K walk.  Walkers will need to pay for a Mickelson trail pass.  There is a $3 daily fee for trail use.

DIRECTIONS

In Deadwood along US 85 at the Deadwood Railroad Station and Museum.  Look for Volkssport signs and Mickelson Trailhead signs.

IVV RECORD BOOKS

Event and distance books will be available for purchase for $5.00 each at the Start/Finish.  This event counts towards the acquisition of IVV achievement awards.  New walker program packets will also be available for $5.00 each.
