TRAIL DESCRIPTION |
The trail follows the old Burlington Northern Railroad. |

EVENT INFORMATION |
Rises to 6250' during the 42K walk. Walkers will need to pay for a Mickelson trail pass. There is a $3 daily fee for trail use. |

DIRECTIONS |
In Deadwood along US 85 at the Deadwood Railroad Station and Museum. Look for Volkssport signs and Mickelson Trailhead signs. |

Event and distance books will be available for purchase for $5.00 each at the Start/Finish. This event counts towards the acquisition of IVV achievement awards. New walker program packets will also be available for $5.00 each. |
