TRAIL DESCRIPTION |
Walk
on the Deerfield Trail with some gentle ups/downs. The Deerfield Trail
connects with the Mickelson Trail and the Centennial Trail
as it passes thru the Black Hills. |

is planned and walking sticks might be helpful. Bring along a camera to
capture the moment. |

DIRECTIONS |
Hill City is located on Hwy 385/16. Take Mt. Rushmore Road from Rapid City. From Hot Springs and Custer take 385 north. Take Deerfield Lake Road in Hill City until it branches to the left, stay to the right on CR 231 to Daugherty Gulch TH (gravel road). Look for signs. |
