TRAIL DESCRIPTION

Walk on George S. Mickelson Trail from Harbach Park to north on old Burlington Northern Railroad. Trail is crushed limestone and gravel.

EVENT INFORMATION

Walk to Mt. Rushmore Rd upon return to pass by courthouse and museum. You will view a life size buffalo and might see Gen Custer roaming the streets or welcoming you at the Chamber. Trail passes for 12 year olds and up are $3 daily and $15 annually.

DIRECTIONS

 Hwy 385/16 South of Crazy Horse Memorial. From Custer State Park, go west on Hwy 16. Take Mt. Rushmore Rd to Sixth Street. Follow signs to Custer Chamber of Commerce.
