TRAIL HIGHLIGHTS: The 10 km (6.2 mi.) and 5 km (3.1 mi.) trails are both rated 1 , follow paths through the streets and sidewalks in the picturesque village of Rhinebeck. Suitable for wheelchairs and baby strollers. Some assistance may be required.

START POINT LOCATION & HOURS: The Delamater House , 25 Garden Street, Rhinebeck, New York 12572, (845) 876-7080. The course is open daily 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. YRE's can be done during daylight hours only. 10 day forcast for Rhinebeck, NY and vicinity.

WATER & RESTROOMS: Water and restroom facilities are available at the start/finish and along the route. Refreshments are also available at many establishments located in the main part of town. The Beekman Arms Colonial Tap Room and An American Place Country Restaurant are open daily for fine meals. Walkers are encouraged to carry water during warm weather.
Smoking is prohibited in public buildings by New York State law. Please observe this ruling.

    DIRECTIONS:
  • FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH: NYS Thruway, Exit 19 (Kingston) to the Rhinecliff-Kingston Bridge. After crossing bridge, (Rte. 199), turn right (south) on Rte. 9G and right again on Rte. 9 into the Village of Rhinebeck. Turn right on W. Market St (at stop light in the middle of Rhinebeck), right at the next intersection onto Garden St, then one block to the Delameter Inn hotel office on the right. Parking is available across from the office on the left.
  • FROM THE EAST: Red Hook-Rhinebeck exit of the Taconic State Parkway. Follow Rte. 199 bear left onto Rte. 308 to intersection with Rte 9. ( the stop light in the middle of Rhinebeck). Continue one block and turn right onto Garden St, then one block to the Delameter Inn hotel office on the right. Parking is available across from the office on the left.

PETS:Pets must be on a leash and attached human must clean up after the pet.
