TRAIL HIGHLIGHTS:
For the most part, route follows sidewalks and paved roads but due to two hills is not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
Stroll Nyack's tree-lined streets and admire the Victorian architectural treasures around every corner. Get lost in time viewing the majestic Hudson River as it rolls past this lovely village. Nyack has unique shops and galleries, featuring antiques and crafts, as well as many fine restaurants. The walk features good views of the Hudson River and the Tappan Zee Bridge, and goes by the homes of painter Edward Hopper and actress Helen Hayes.

START POINT LOCATION:
160 North Midland Avenue, Nyack, NY. From NY State Thruway (I-87/I-287) to Exit 11, Nyack. Then...
FROM THE NORTH - At the traffic light, turn left onto Route 59 East. Proceed ahead under overpass to first traffic light (corner of Route 9W). Turn left onto Route 9W North (aka N. Highland Ave). Proceed through traffic light. GoTo 9W-NORTH.
FROM THE SOUTH - Follow through the stop sign, and proceed one block further to traffic light. Turn left onto Route 9W North (aka N. Highland Ave). GoTo 9W-NORTH.
9W-NORTH - Proceed one and one-half blocks crossing Sickles Ave . Turn right into the first entrance to Hospital preceeding under the enclosed walkway to the hospital visitor entrance on the left, located on the South side (Sickle Ave side) of the building that is also accessible from Midland Ave. The walk box is located on the top of the visitor information desk next to the wall on the left. There are many entrances into the hospital building complex. Do NOT go to either of the emergency entrances nor to the out patient entrances on Midland Ave or 5th Ave. {lat:41.095524, lng:-73.92542}
HOURS:
Register and start between 9 AM and 12 Noon. Finish by 3 PM.
WATER & RESTROOMS:
Water and toilets are available at the start/finish.
PARKING:
Visitor Parking is available in the lot located in front of the Hospital. The charge for parking is $2 per day. Parking tokens are available for purchase in the Main Lobby. You will need a token to get your car out of the lot.
Parking is also available on the streets.
The meters are not in effect on Sunday.
PETS: Leashed pets are permitted, but not allowed in buildings. It is suggested that you bring water for your pets.
