About Us

The Ramstein Roadrunners Volksmarching Club was established in 1973 to promote health, fitness, and friendship among the Americans and Germans in the vicinity of Ramstein Air Base. We host two walking events each year. Our two-day Spring events are held the first weekend of May and our "Turkey Trot" is held on Thanksgiving Day. Our sister club, TV03 Wanderfreunde Ramstein, and the Roadrunners host trips to walking events within our state, Rheinland-Palatinate, and nearby states, Saarland, Hessen, Baden Württemberg, and Bayern, as well as to France, Holland, Luxembourg, and Belgium.
