Anniversary Walk

2 different 5K plus a 10K (rating 1+)
START TIME: 7:00 am – 8:30 am
FINISH TIME: 11:00 am
Walk on sidewalks through the beautiful Magnolia neighborhood to the park- one of the club’s first events.. Explore the tucked-away Magnolia neighborhoods of Lawtonwood and Land's End. View Ballard and the Locks from where the Ship Canal flows into Shilshole Bay. Walk on Hooker Street without risking arrest. Neither route is suitable for wheelchairs. Strollers may have difficulty in park due to hills and steps.
There will be a 5k walk that is easy for strollers.
AWARD: Credit only is $3.00. Free participants are welcome but must register, carry, and return a start card.
“B” hatpins are $1.00
PRE-REGISTRATION: None
MISCELLANEOUS: Water and restrooms at the start/finish and near the beginning and end of the trail. Pets are welcome but not in buildings. Clean-up rules apply.
Come celebrate with cake and prizes at the finish.

DIRECTIONS: Coming from the north or south on I-5, take the Mercer St. Exit (#167), following signs to Seattle Center. Passing Seattle Center on right, turn right on Denny Way, which becomes Elliott Ave.W, then 15th Ave.W. Exit to Magnolia Bridge (signing is Terminals 86-91, Magnolia Bridge, Amgen Court W). Then take next exit for Magnolia Bridge and Cruise Passengers, and take bridge up the hill. At top of hill, be in left lane to continue straight, then follow road as it curves. Continue to Y and angle right onto 32nd Ave. W. Turn left on W. Barrett St, then left on 34th Ave W. Parking is on residential streets.
Metro bus routes 19, 24, 31, and 994 service the church.
