Year-Round Events Alki Beach (Y596) This is a 1 rated walk on city sidewalks along Alki Beach on Puget Sound. Enjoy views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Olympic Mountains, Seattle skyline, and a monument to Seattle’s birthplace. The 10K route continues to the Log House Museum, past Alki Congregational Church to Constellation Park on Beach Drive and Alki Lighthouse. You can watch various sports along the beach and the ferry crossings. Start/Finish: 7-11 Store, 2429 Harbor Ave., S.W., Seattle. The “walk box” is on the right side of the check-out counter as you enter the store. Walk daylight hours. Pets: Pets are permitted except in buildings. Please obey Seattle’s leash and scoop laws. Water and Restrooms: available along route Fees and Credit: IVV/AVA distance and/or event credit is $3.00. Free walkers are welcome; they must sign our waiver, register in the walk logbook, and carry a start card. Awards: There is no award for this walk Directions: I-5 Northbound Exit #163/Southbound Exit #163A (West Seattle Bridge/Spokane St). Cross West Seattle Bridge to Harbor Ave Exit (NOT Harbor Island).
