AVA Sanction: YR1516  (Open February 11 - December 31, 2010)

Description: The 10K route is paved and will take you along Branson strip and some residential streets.  The Ozark Mountain area will have some hills.  The trail is rated 2 and is possible, with assistance, for wheelchairs and strollers, but would be difficult.  Dogs must be leashed and will not be allowed in businesses.

Registration: Start point is Best Western Center Pointe Inn, 3215 W. Hwy 76, Branson, MO. 417-334-1894. It is closed Jan. 1 - Feb. 10 and Dec. 20 - 25 of each year. Volksporters can receive a 10% discount at the Center Pointe Inn.  Fees for walkers are $3.00 for IVV credit or free for those not desiring credit. Start time is dawn to dusk.

Directions to Registration/Start Point: From I-44, take US 65 south at Springfield, 45 minute drive to Branson.  Take Hwy 258 exit.  Turn right (west) on 248.  At a stop light when 248 turns right, go straight onto Gretna Road.  Follow Gretna to 76 Country Blvd (Hwy 76).  Turn left and start point is immediately on your left behind Montana Mike's.
