This walking club sponsors 5k and
10k walks in the local Joplin area and extending into
Kansas and Arkansas.
Some of the walks
are one-time special events and other Year-Round walks
are available on a regular basis.
It is an
opportunity to participate in a non-competitive
activity designed for individuals of all ages and
families.
It is an
opportunity to meet people with a common interest.
The club is part of
the national American Volkssport Association which
allows participations with other walking clubs
throughout the US.
