50-State and 51-Capital Achievement Books
are available from the AVA for $5 each. Record your walks and redeem them for a
free personalized certificate when complete.

your achievements in these programs.
- Simply mark on the cover whether the
book is recording yor states or your capitals.
- You will need to purchase two books if
you are participating in both programs.
- Basic program:
Once your book is completed, you are entitled to a personalized certificate -
free with the purchase of the book.
- Deluxe Package: You
may wish to purchase a deluxe package at the conclusion of the program, which
entitles you to an elegant certificate, patch (designs pictured above) and
T-shirt for $25. Details on ordering the deluxe package are located on
the back of the books.
- Those who have already completed
either or both goals can purchase the deluxe package now.
The 50-State and 50-Capital programs are
retroactive - if you are in the midst of pursuing this goal, you are welcome to
write in your previous achievements in these record books. Simply write or type
them in. As you achieve new events in the books, you may use the official event
stamp to record in these books at no additional fee.
There is no additional cost for placing a
stamp in the special 50-State/51-Capital books, even if you do not use the
regular IVV Record Books.
These books DO NOT replace the regular
record books for IVV Achievement Awards, so be sure to stamp your regular event
and distance record books as well at each event.
There are no rules as to which events
"count" in these books. This is your goal, so YOU determine which events should
be placed in the books. The AVA will not disallow any event.
