Mission statement and other Information:

The American Volkssport Association promotes health, fun, and fellowship through non-competitive walking and other sporting events for everyone.

Member Clubs: Clubs host weekend events, the members selecting interesting trails and walking routes for everyone to enjoy. Club dues are usually minimal, often less than $10 per year. Clubs are a great way  to meet other active walkers in your local area. Call the club contact to find out more!

Walking Adventures International group from Western Europe enjoying the sights of America at the Boston Freedom Trail year round event Y0730 in Boston, MA. Hosted by the Walk 'N Mass Volkssport Club, Point of Contacts Ernie/Agnes Laviolette. Details for this 11km/6km event are found on page 293 of the 2009 Starting Point Book. The Freedom Trail is on downtown city streets and walkways, passing the State Capitol and exploring a plethora of historic sites, monuments, museums and landmarks. Boston, known as "America's Walking City" is steeped in history and tradition. Co-Presidents Sue Robertson and Beate Hait, Secretary Polly Meltzer and Treasurer Elizabeth Foley.
