AVA Special Programs Which Start on January 1, 2013

Books are not on sale now. 

Once they go on sale, they will be available for purchase until December 31, 2015. 

Completed books may be redeemed until December 31, 2016.

Civil War Battlefields - Each walk must be a sanctioned AVA Walk that passes through a Civil War Battlefield, one event stamp per battlefield is allowed. Consists of 15 events. Proposed by Germanna Volkssport Association, Fredericksburg, VA. More information will be posted once it becomes available.

 

Old Spanish Trail Auto Highway - This program promotes any event that runs along or crosses or is in very close proximity to any part of the Old Spanish Trail auto highway which runs in the Southern United States from Florida to California. Consists of 15 events. Proposed by the Randolph Roadrunners, San Antonio, TX by Ellen Ott. More information will be posted once it becomes available.

 

Fraternal Organization - AVA sanctioned walk must pass directly by a structure where a Fraternal Organization meets or a structure or facility that is sponsored or supported by a Fraternal Organization and has a sign or equivalent indicating the Fraternal Organization's name. Consists of 20 events. Proposed by the Penn Dutch Pacers Volksmarch Club, Lancaster, PA by Phil Allamong. More information will be posted once it becomes available.
