Walking Federation (BWF) - The British Walking Federation organizes, through its clubs, non-competitive events designed for people of all
ages and abilities. Participants walk at their own pace and receive awards for
their personal achievement. You don't have to be a member of a club to take
part - all you need to do is come to an event and register and take the
opportunity to have fun, make friends and improve your own personal fitness.
Canadian Volkssport Federation (CVF) - The Canadian Volkssport Federation/La Federation Canadienne Volkssport
(CVF/FCV) is the national organization that promotes non-competitive
participation in walking and other recreational activities for fun, fitness and
friendship.
International
Federation of Popular Sports (IVV) - The International Federation
of Popular Sports (IVV) is an international organization composed of national
associations and clubs that organizes popular sports (volkssports) events. The
Federation is a not-for-profit organization. It was founded in 1968 by clubs
from Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Austria. It was registered by the
Court of Munich, Germany on January 20, 1972, and entered into the Register of
Associations under No 7820 at the Office of Records.
