Acting Executive Director: Candace Purcell candy@ava.org

This position is responsible for NEC administrative functions and communications as well as international (IVV) reporting and communications. The Executive Director oversees the administrative/operational stewardship of AVA. Marketing, fundraising, and sponsorship development are primary functions of the Executive Director. The Executive Director coordinates with the Financial Director, and the IT providers for IT services and web site development. Ensure the AVA's mission is carried out in all areas.

Financial Director: Candace Purcell candy@ava.org

The Financial Director handles all financial and accounting duties including tax and other issues for clubs and the AVA. Responsible for budget items and preparation of annual budget to the AVA Treasurer. The Financial Director is responsible for the annual audit and internal control. Responsible for operations of Headquarters including all vendors, equipment, leases and contracts. Other responsibilities include the human resources and management of staff including volunteers.

Marketing and Publicity Director: Chuck Blische marketing@ava.org

Responsible for: organizational fund-raising; development and implementation of marketing and public relations programs; management of multi-media relations and print and electronic publications; coordination with community groups and implementation of communications strategy with government, media, business communities, sports and health organizations and the general public.  Serve as one of the “key” voices of the AVA.

Accounts Receivable Specialist: Kevin Davis kevin@ava.org

Responsible for office when Financial Director/Interim Executive Director is out. Handles club, individual and membership invoicing. Online Merchandise Store research. Merchandise invoicing from incoming mail / fax / email / online store ordering from clubs / individuals. Club supply requests, club invoice/statement research, shipping status research.

Events Coordinator: Marie Bebley events@ava.org

Handles event management and collection of financial reports. Researches club electronic reporting issues, event stamps, event insurance. Sanctioning issues (club should contact Regional Director first).

Awards/Membership Coordinator: Karen Winkle karen@ava.org

Handles awards processing, membership database, and physical shipping. Processes Special Event Program books that are sold direct from headquarters. Mailing of requested Recognition Awards for Regional Directors. Girl Scout and Master Program processing. Entering of national membership and mailing of renewal notices.

Webmaster/Administrative Assistant: Linda Rebmann linda@ava.org

Website maintenance. Aids with general administration for Board (Executive Director and Financial Director and Marketing and Publicity Director) and general reception.
